So… here it all begins
I’ll be honest with you, I’ve never really taken the art of diary writing seriously; though in my mind I’ve always had an immense respect for those who found solace in meticulously maintaining a daily journal of their lives.
I’ve recently made up my mind to maintain a blog of myself, not really a chronological account of my day-to-day activities, rather a memoir of the insights gained through my life experiences. I’ll admit that these introspections of mine may be sometimes biased and may also be influenced by certain external factors though I’ll always make an effort to keep the facts and figures well intact.
So why am I doing this? What lead me to this epiphany? I believe over the last few years I’ve realized the immense potential writing has to offer. It exploits the inner self, makes one question one’s notions, moulds our nascent thoughts and let’s you take a step back and look at the bigger picture which is often essential for a healthy and a satisfying lifestyle. Personally I also wish to restore the subtlety with which I once penned down my ideas when I was in high school.
I'm really excited about this new hobby and I surely wish to see how it turns out to be in the long run. Is this going to be one of those self-help blogs? Well no, not at all. I believe life is ephemeral and dynamic and its’ tales often have something important to teach us along the way. The very essence of the question as to how to live life is very well contained in itself. One doesn’t have to go around looking for answers. No one can teach you how to live your life, you are the best sailor there to drive your own ship. Your past shall teach you how to live your future. Commit mistakes and learn from them, though never succumb to them. Realise life is much bigger than the cycle of birth and death. So while you have the opportunity, seize every moment and push yourself harder and let life propel you forward and give you a taste of success.
See how I deviated from the topic and switched into a motivational speaker? Often while writing I tend to get carried away in my thoughts and write things which may not directly be related to the topic of discussion. While this might be one of my weaknesses, it’s essential to keep up the momentum of my thought process.
